who is maetrik and just how does he get his beats and bleeps to sound so good? we cant be the only ones asking this question as recently eric comes on a string of big hits for audiomatique and mothership. erics been banging out stormers of late, but with dumb-unit its different. here we do our typical du magic and present something a little bit slankier, a wee bit dirtier, and a tad more tripped out. something that dancers and freaks can equally get their head around, something that will blast through the sound systems straight through the summer! and so without further ado we suggest you dig in ... and get ready ...
>rmxd vol.1< comes with a hurtin good kalabrese remix, a very very groovy st.plomb mix, a slammin omer & sarna rework and (once more) very convincing and refreshing approach from dollar mambo.
close your eyes and listen to this dreamily tracks by neal white. he is introducing the next decade of kammer musik and strikes back with much more groove and deepness. play this record when the sun comes out and the new day is dawning. this three tracks are definitely the ultimate afterhour weapons of this year! baby, keep your hands off for rocking
first on decks.de !!! fresh from the success of his recent release for uk label renaissance, solee readies himself to drop >legends<. a potential festival classic. its vast, expansive feel, matched with its cruise- liner horn riff and dreamy synths, create a true hands in the air, big top moment. on remix duty parquet have done us proud by drafting in palette recs. boss john tejada. the us legend reworks the original with his trademark tech-funk touch. the steroid abusing horn riff is more menacing than ever, and early in the mix works brilliantly alongside smooth, deep synth stabs. this is tejada at this best. monster-release! support by: joris voorn, motorcitysoul, james zabiela, fergie, paul ritch, nick warren, samuel l session, christian smith and many many more
bryan cox presents weapon! your label for funky bangin techno!

put your hands in the air if you want more!
boy we couldnt resist hooking up with one of the youngest and brightest proteges in the west-coast undergound to slap out some crazy remixes of the bsu ep for yall. who is he? why, a made up sound ofcourse, or 2562 for short. steamrolling his way onto the scene in 2007, 2562 has been a mainstay from the get go, with amazing production skills and a keen ear for what rocks the house. in a very short time the 2562 name became almost synonimous for dubstep. but luckily for us theres the made up sound guise to provide us with a more mutant hybrid of slamming jak-step (and remember where you read that first). so take your pick, heres one for the heads and one for the bodies.
big with:laurent garnier, johnny d, hanne & lore, ante perry, sebastian lutz,.. family stuff is a collaboration between prodigal belgian producer kolombo and his nephew nicolas houart. nicolas always was an admirer of his nephews djing and production skills and so it was only logical that he would follow in his footsteps. lany recordings is very happy to provide the platform for the first outing of their collaborative studio efforts. with this first e.p. they prove they can handle both smoother and rougher versions of their house and tech house vision, while maintaining their own sound throughout the 4 tracks. i am has been killing dancefloors in belgium for a while in the many sets of label a&r maxim lany and kicks off the e.p.
supported by: ricardo villalobos, reboot, robert dietz, karotte,.. backing every full release on all inn records, is sister label all inn ltd, with its limited runs of 300 white label vinyls. each ltd release sees well established and brand new artists, deliver floor wrecking, cheeky bootlegs. some more instantly recognizable than others, but all, well road-tested secret weapons. today all inn visit their italian talent academy, recruiting romano alfieri and sehou. pisa resident romano is resident of reflex club, and regularly shares the decks with many of the worlds biggest names. 2009 saw his sign his moved to love ep alongside luca bear, to gregor treshers break new soil imprint.
italojohnson greets the dance floor with his first vinyl release embodying three functional tracks appropriate for any party mood.
the a-sides systematic drumming maliciously rumbles through the prime time floor as the mellow waves begin to take form and surge into a hysterical tsunami of beats. an emotional sunrise paves the tracks finale.
a similar functional sound continues on b1 and soon after, exposes itself as a percussive chicago house track as the 707, 727 and abyssal bassline protest against loungy house.
the dubbier interpretation of the italojohnson concept can be found in the final track on b2. the 808-thunderstorms and melancholic pads have lived through more than one summer, yet have only triumphed through charm and optimism.
and the beat goes on as flapjack records 7th vinyl release beats the prohibition laws and is distributed to gin joints around the globe. this big whiskey is brought to you by uk of age and already heavy drinkers jackin box. after many hangovers and oak barrel mishaps, the duo concocted the >licker license ep< which hits hard in the chest and burns all the way down.
having discretely passed from international chart topping success with the ubiquitous >put your hands up for detroit< back in 2006, to establishing position as one of the industrys premier djs, fedde le grand continues to purvey his talent to worldwide dance floors bringing his unique blend of fine house music in all its glorious forms.
split between his title name fedde le grand & alias f.l.g fedde has constructed 2 discs of the worlds finest house music for the next installment on the toolroom knights series.

the amazing situation return with two sides of love – gangster love and sutra love. the gangster side is an amazing clash of a skit from american gangster (heavily inspired by the eddy grant produced >funky like a train< by the equals) with donna summer. the resulting blend is as inspiring and surprising as it is unlikely. but with their usual disregard for boundaries and rules, situation seamlessly melt the two original cuts together into a perfect slice of discoid boogie that absolutely sets fire to the dancefloor. on the flip side, love of a deeper and groovier type oozes from sutra love. its a case of yet more top class, bass led disco action thats firmly focussed on maximum dancefloor reaction. this is without a doubt one of the best situations ever! and with heavy releases on disco deviance and their own imprint already under the belt that really is saying something.

if there was one secret weapon to win a war for real techno music it is realmz out of pittsburgh, pennsylvania. after a series of digital only releases on sonic groove over the past three years, the timing for realmz to hit with a 4 track ep on black wax is now with sonic grooves huge 20th anniversary event and label celebrations. the music of realmz can be classified as deep, dark atmospheric, detroit styled techno with an industrial twist. realmz is for sure a name you will hear a lot more in the near future.
remember your first time at a rave? of course you don’t. and if you do, you either did it wrong or you’re a liar. with the latest installment of the 7777 onslaught, jared wilson aims to remind you of a time you dont remember. this ep is a souvenir back in time. beyond the zero and beyond the one and back into the analog bringing back memories you never had and experiences you never felt. paris massacre is reminiscent of a time when function mattered more than form and fashion, when sound systems and no lighting took precedence over state of the art fashion shows and laptop djs. its not nostalgic by any stretch of the word, though. how can one be nostalgic for a time they cant recall? the flip of the record is the wonderful >scmocid<, a wonderful reexamination of what it means to work a 303 to near death.
producer toby leeming is making quite a name for himself. after a year of sowing the seeds on the underground, this london-based artist makes his first high profile release on arts newly formed dance division series. >messier 66< contains all the classic elements of pure dancefloor techno. driving ur style beats merge with basic channel chord delays - all underpinned by a menacing acid line. techno doesnt get any more sci-fi than the alien soundscapes of >anadine< - its classic detroit-inspired string stabs and abstract vocal washes are highlights of a frantic, scattering track that will keep the feet busy on the dancefloor. >paucity< ends this no-filler ep with its majestic, sweeping pads and uplifting melodies. the beats are still tough and relentless - making a perfect finale to the second release on arts dance division series.
deluxe edition double 180gram vinyl, double cd, 2 booklets, 1 speakeasy. includes interpretations & remixes of all eleven tracks by thom yorke, carter tutti, devendra banhart, alan vega, melvins and more!
coloured edition
heres the second strike of soulphiction and mk aka the missing linkx on philpot! while their last release (php041) gained lots of attention and is still found in many playlists the two guys also dropped a great 12inch on dj kozes brand-new pampa imprint. so here are three more live pieces from this stunning project: the real deal, no edits, no polish, no boundaries - just the recorded bliss of the moment! thanks for purchasing a real copy!
traversable wormhole has been one of the hottest mystery artist projects/ series in the techno scene for the last several months. finally coming out of the wormhole to reveal him self in 2010. we find it to be none other then legendary nyc techno pioneer adam x. adam’s >traversable wormhole< is now stepping up to vol 7, keeping the series fresher then ever with more new sound innovations in sci fi techno and dubstep.

2nd single cut from kuniyuki new album >walking in the naked city< (mule musiq cd 13). this kuniyukis 12inch version of night forest is more playful and mixable than original version of album. this kind of musical deep house sound is a rare on these days. our favorite african artist mr raoul k made the interesting trippy afro taste minimal house remix.
knarf skipson is back on quintessentials for his second release. his style? still house with this kind of hip-hop flavour! is this cool? ah yeah! and the remix? a fat tool from sascha dive! need more? buy the record! thanks!
inspired by nu-wave disco, italo disco, pop cliches and 60s glamour magazines: dutch band le le is a unique force. made up of parra, graphic talent par excellence, serge faberge (who used to be in the dutch rap-electro crew djvt) and rimer london (who has been part of the electro duo comtron).
their album le classics is a collection of weird electro funk songs. rough and lofi pop techno and fucked up house.…introducing the new art of >espernatology<: a crazy combination of different languages and fantasy words. the 10-track album will be released next week, meanwhile we are already putting out a limited 5-track album sampler (including special parra poster) on 12 inch vinyl.
dj-support by dj mehdi, headman, erol alkan, munk, telonius and many more!
italys marco donnarumma indicated some of the potential of his kuoyah project with last aprils digital release for frijsfo, earning enthusiastic tips from the likes of boomkat. nonetheless, theres no doubt that his debut on wax ups the game ? even in the face of a mix from sully ? by applying a focus capable of working magic in 2010s open-ended dubstep dance. its an overused comparison that probably deserves to be buried, but angel dub does reek of horsepower productions, or more precisely the ducking 2-step and basic channel steals of benny ills classic tempa ep with hatcha.
ark has got an eclectic and organic sound, something in between. from his origins as guitarist in a number of 80s funk bands, most notably trankilou, where he hooked up with the legend that is pepe bradock and onto the great matthew herbert & losoul with their first collaboration, belle lurette in 99. the alleluyark ep series from 2003 reaffirmed as his status as chief protagonist of experimental, groove led house and techno. his 2005 long player on perlon, caliente won him critical acclaim, which is furthered by his more recent works together with shalom (as shalark), krikor (as krikark), cabanne (as copacabannark), mikael weill (as les cerveaux lents) and dolibox. his cannon of remixes is as long as the channel tunnel, reworking the likes of stephen beaupre, mr. oizo, archive, mossa, salif keita, slabb, fym, robag wruhme
sebastien san is releasing his 3rd ep on echocord colour. again he presents a beautiful mixtur of the detroit sound and the more modern sound of dub techno.
>stellar winds< is a very beautiful full of strings and melodies perfectly for the afterhours for the fans of carl craig, while >continental< is a powerful dub techno track.
sebastien is also known from his releases on gigolo, planet e and rush hour.
this scottish producer puts trapez ltd again on the techno map. after a couple of more housy releases on trapez ltd this release is a tougher one.
,,circular star works techno a bit in a post detroit fashion... the sounds smells of industrial sites, burned rubber and has that certain sexy machine rhythm to it which we always felt was the jeff mills factor. they have little glamour about them, they are true and a direct force.
in early social systems, new ideas and technologies spread uncontrolled over certain patterns. from innovators to first adopters to laggards, the knowledge of the sources truest form has freely developed amongst cultures, countries and organizations.

these days presents an impressive compilation of six drum tools/beats on a single 12inch especially made for dj use. our favorite beat-makers, from radio slave to marlon d and jerome sydenham, contribute exclusive drum moments from new-school new york to more chicago jacking and techno. comes with a beautifully curated nostalgic 90s cover. essential!
guillaume & the coutu dumonts has been unstoppable over the past three years. since his debut album, face a lest, on montreals musique risquee label in 2007, the montreal-born berliner has released a steady stream of eps, remixes and compilation tracks for circus company, musique risquée, oslo, cocoon and many more. cannt have everything feat. dop, the first single taken from the forthcoming album breaking the fourth wall, was recorded in dops studio in paris.
supported by luciano, dj sneak, laurent garnier, tiefschwarz, seth troxler, sasha dive, nick curly, livio & roby, jimpster, brothers vibe, deetron, dj w!ld and many more!!! >woman< is an instant classic for these springtime months, emanating pheromones into the air. this single-sided 12inch includes the original, nearly ten-minute, version, although you can expect some remixes from top-tier names later this year
cutz features special versions, remixes and edits of wonderful secret tracks because its hard to find the little weapons in million of tracks these days. so we want to present songs that we love, bought, edited, played out and which we have the feeling more people should know about them. one characteristic is to keep the original spirit alive and make the tracks more dj friendly and give them a more dancefloor oriented vibe. the first edition was edited by youandme from ornaments / platzhirsch. b-lo on side a from carlos nilmmns & ian elgey was original published on the scottish fizzy duck label (fd003). the fool on side b from map.ache was original published on the german ortloff label (uwe02). enjoy
truly beautiful deep house records are things to be treasured, akin to proper songs that will last the test of time, not made to meet a fleeting fad. this is one of those records and a real pinnacle & departure for blm & pawas. although the term deep is an oft overused one, >waiting game< personifies the genres true key traits with a subtly moving groove that gradually builds, using layers of subtle percussion and a rich, warm synth motif to make a rich tapestry of sounds before finally introducing the beautiful female vocal that gives the track its name. patrice scott liked the track so much that he agreed to remix it - his first ever outside of his own, excellent, sistrum label. using plenty of the original track parts but taking it a different direction, patrice really has come up with something special. the track moves along with snippets of the main vocal and clever use of the main synth, the groove being underpinned by patrice s classic sense of production before moving into a more classic >detroit< ending - a mindset with a bigger, more dramatic sensibility
listen to the words fall apart as christoph heemann deconstructs lee renaldos recitation of >bloomington indiana?<, then flip the disc and hear heemann and jim o rourke work a little bit more space into the mix with >autumn<. like the space cowboys they are, streamline rides again!
first on decks.de !!! after his big releases on fine audio, perc trax and driving forces now the follow up 3 track sampler with energetic, tribal and psychodelic sounds on that powerfull and young label plattenbau-music. including tonkberlin remix!! played by: paco osuna, oscar, oliver klein, microtrauma, mentalic, glanz and ledwa, dj misk, ascii disko and many more
the fifth movement bucketround reconnect with >dubbyman< (deep explorer music). in gods country is a complete disc with two original songs >the dawn< and >the twilight< remixed by scott ferguson (ferrispark) and oval future face (bucketround records). the union of 4 cuts make this reference have a more american deep house all the stamp to remind us where we came from and where we go.
supported by: joakim (tigersushi), shawn mac, xaver von tryer (supersoul rec.), cosmo vitelli, walter jones (dfa), in flagranti, lsb dance disorder, discodromo, space ranger, makossa & megablast, dj morpheus, drrtyhaze, riotus rockers, bottin,.. 2000 lightyears from home is a slow track, but the boys conjure up thick beats reminiscent of early electro and an acid bassline that flows down smoothly. the remix is by altair nouveau, who we recently heard with a great work on dfa/solardisco. he delivers a moroder influenced more dancefloor oriented version. on the b side, come back, a direct track with a sure effect on the dancefloor, house beat and super groovy bassline
supported by: nick curly, anja schneider, samuel l session, steve bug, will saul, milton jackson.. after releases from drei farben house and paulo olarte, polytone is joined by matthias vogt. being a member of motorcitysoul (together with frankfurts house legend crock), matthias vogt has been teaching lessons in deepness for years now. in his solo works vogts profound education as a jazz musician is just as present. thus, >together as one< is carried by wonderfully deep chords, which are accentuated by a contrapuntal bassline. a classic male vocal highlights the soulfulness even more and turns this track into a marvellous deephouse affair.
supported by: miss kittin, gregor tresher, dave seaman, karotte , marc romboy, stephan bodzin, phil kieran, steve bug, timo maas, dj hell, loco dice, christian smith, darren emerson, davide squillace, marco carola, matt edwards (radio slave), sharam, luca bacchetti, john digweed, pete tong, mathias tanzmann and many more
odaka (also known as rawakari) delivers some nice abstract techno in the best idm tradition. he dabbles here with a flurry of machines, to obtain that distinctive analogue sound to go back to the basics. even the graphic design is the result of a more back to basics technique, without the assistance of a computer once again, but rather via sketching and plain and simple drawing. a very sincere and sympathetic release on this belgium label (brussels to be precise, wallonia, roughly same areas as confined). record is mastered by pascal demez (herrmutt lobby, kadah/vresky) check!
new single from franck roger, already supported by laurent garnier (fr), danny krivit (us), dj deep (fr), jimpster (uk), djulz (fr), marlon d (co), dj spen (us) and more..
for their 3rd release well rounded bring you the imaginative and playful funky-influenced house sound of hackman. this ep is packed with punchy & polished productions and adventurous arrangements. we have curated 3 tracks that we feel demonstrate the breadth and potential of this exciting young producer based in leeds, england. on the a bodies is an ecstatic piano-driven belter with immediate appeal. the 4/4 drums drive hard, funked up with supple bass flexations, then punctuated with classic chords and catchy vocal cut-ups. what sounds simple here is carefully considered. a brilliantly constructed, exciting and peak-time melodic banger! on the flip surround leads the listener into more tropical terrain
supportet by richie hawtin, tiefschwarz, marcin czubala, mihalis safras, hanne & lore, someone else, pelle buys, paco osuna, andre kronert and many more! castle or house? jenn pushes her new ep through every building! constantly she appears on her homebase karateklub with massive beats, a housy shine and cute vocal snippets. furthermore, kollektiv ost delivers a brilliant remix and hit home! familiar fresh karateklub sound!!
bitten, co-founded in 2009 by amsterdammers sandy huner and dylan hermelijn, focuses on the techier side of techhouse life.
daniele tignino is without doubt one of the most famous and prolific italian djs and producers. already in 1991 he started releasing tracks on important italian labels such as umm, palmares…
for the 4th release on bitten he delivers woodanza, a tech-house track phat on the tribal beats, with a layer of mumbling vocalsnippets across the top.
oliver klein then drives it down a more techier route, while chart-topping duo doomwork and award-winning neuroxyde, take the track on the deep and grooving road.
nice price deal !!! big with mathias kaden, karotte, andre galluzzi, robert dietz, raresh, dorian paic and many more! ultraphat remixes to ahmet sisman s miami bass machine and move by daze maxim, digitaline and pherox !!
